The annual mid-winter conference of the Women of the i Moose was under the auspices of the college of regents and was held in Waukegan on Sunday, Jan. 25. Waukegan chapter was hostess to the chapters who were invited to participate. The chapters participating and number of members present were: McHenry 20, Antioch 36, Zion-Benton 18. Highland Park 3, Waukegan 40 and North Chicago none. The conference , leader was senior Regent Mildred Haskel of Waukegan chapter who welcomed all chapters and introduced the other senior regents as they took part in the conference. Response by Senior Regent Virginia Evans of Zion-Benton chapter. The college of regents was presented by Pauline Virginia Evans of Zion-Benton chapter. The college of regents was presented by Pauline Lange 1 Waukegan chapter, investiture ceremony by Dorothy Heaven, Waukegan chapter who presented the two College of Regents with their stoles. All. senior regents gave a short talk on some of the interesting projects accomplished by their chapters. i College of Regents from McHenry chapter attending was 1 Ann Rodenkirch. Olga Johnson Publicity Chairman SUIT DISMISSED An order was entered in circuit court at Woodstock last week by Judge Sidnev Block of Lake county, dismissing the court action of Charles E. Millei. Olive A. Millei and J. A, Werden against the McHenry county and zoning enforcing officer, George Jedlicka, for want of equity. The petitioners asked that the court set aside the action of the county which denied them special uses of 80 acres two miles east of Spring Grove. Werden had a contractual agreement to purchase the property from the other plaintiffs to operate a sand and grav. el business.
