Tommy and Roddy, attended the Golden Gloves March 11. Mr. and Mrs. John Ossler of Benson ville, visited the Ossler and Overson families. Mr. and Mrs. Fairland visited their cousins who reside in Chicago. They were entertained by their cousins all day Sunday and were served a tastydinner. I am sorry to have forgotten Mrs. Blake's birthday which was in the montlj, of February. Mrs. Thompson, gave a birthday dinner in her honor. Everyone have a real enjoyable weekend. Sunnyside Estates Slate Officers For PTA Election From A to Z The only "news" of this week is the meeting of the St. John's P.T.A. on Monday evening March 23 at the Community h$ll in Johnsburg. The nominating committee consisting of the Mesdames Irma Gunther, Dorothy Pitzeri and Bunny Thelen will present the names of those to be elected to the offices of vice - president and treasurer, after which the election will proceed. Since March is vocation month, there will be a speaker on the importance of vocations. The school children have been preparing posters on this theme and a prize will be given to the room having the best one. Since it is the Lenten season, just coffee will' be served at this meeting. Party An "all boy" party was held at the Fry residence for Tommy who was six years old on March 7. Those present for lunch of hot dogs, ice cream and delicious birthday cake were Teddy Jost, Alan Kennebeck, Johnny Lakswo, Rickey and Mickey Mikkelson and Donnie Rose. America's favorite birthday party game, "pin the tail on the donkey," was enjoyed by all the boys along with all the goodies of a birthday party.
