St. Patrick's Party The St. Patrick's day party at St. Peter's parish hall on Tuesday afternoon March 17 was a great success. Guests Charlotte Read and Belte Hayne were introduced by President Dorothy Diedrich. Mis. Read is the department 'hospital chairman for Downey hospital. Mrs. Read thanked McHenry unit for their splendid cooperation in entertaining at, the hospital. She pointed out how very much every little gesture of kindness means to the men at Downey. The veterans are now in the process of making poppies to sell in May. Anyone who can spare some time to go to Downey hospital to help the men with this project should contact Mrs. Marie Howe, 2210. The veteran derives a great deal of benefit from the sale of these .poppies and any help given him would be greatly appreciated. - Our auxiliary membership now stands at 322 which. is 2 over our quota for 1959.
