The luncheon speaker, Dr. Arthur H. Steinhaus, whose talk will be On "The Wholeness of Man-Body, Mind and Spirit", is professor of physicology and dean of George Williams college in Chicago. Although he has taught in one college since 1920, his professional career has taken him to universities throughout America and to many schools abroad, as teacher and lecturer. He has held positions with the U. S. government in the field of health education. Dr. Steinhaus has authored many books on health and holds membership and fellowships in numerous societies. Mrs. Stinespring extends i special invitation to hospital dministrators to attend this leeting. All officers and members of District 2 are urged to attend this sure-to-be-interesting meeting at Lombard on April 21. Lakemoor ~ Marion Sulok--592-R-l On Saturday, Mar. 21, Richard (Ricky) Foss, son of the Harold Fosses from the village, took first place for skating a three minute free style routine to the music of "Pop Goes the Weasel" at the skating meet held in Peru, Ind. On April 26 the skaters will exhibit their free style programs and dances at the roller rink in McHenry for the 1959 Illinois state championship. We can all be very proud of our local boy for making such a winderful showing and here's wishing y6u lots of luck in your competition for the state showing. Our Sympathy The friends and neighbors of the Andrew Anderson family extend their deepest sympathy in the loss of Mrs. Louise Anderson, who passed away on March 23, at the McHenry hospital. Brownies The Brownies held their meeting at the fire-community at the fire-community^ house on Tuesday evening and after the meeting Mrs. Lu Bitterman, after much planning for the little ones, started them on the Easter egg hunt which all of these little gals enjoyed very much. Refreshments were served at the end of the hunt and all the youngsters went home with hopeful thoughts of the Easter Bunny. Home on Leave Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Dick) Beahler arrived at the Ted Beahler home earlier in the week to spend the Easter holidays with both of their folks. Dick and Jean havfe been living in New Jersey and have made some different plans for the present. Dick must report back at the base by April 8 and Jean plans on staying here for the present time.
