The dramatic critics from the Chicago. New York, and the Los Angeles papers have been unable to find the words to describe the performances. Bill Linden and the Lehmans were nothing short of great. The Williams and the Schumans are sorry they started their acting careers so late. The Macinsons and the MacLaughlins showed acting prowess galores. Mrs. Schultz and the Cios pair were recalled for countless encores. The Metzgers and the Fritzes gave their very all. With the Gunthers and the Fredricks the audience really had a ball. The better half of the Kalmes clan, although she missed her cue, showed real promise, you see I love her too. As for the author who has decided to learn a trade, he thanks one and all for without their nerve and talent the play never could be made. So when you have made your way to the top in Hollywood and are looking out your casement, remember your old social club and that we're looking for a basement, Ditz Kalmes. 4-H Cardinals On March 26 the 4-H Cardinals had their March party, which was a late St. Patrick's day party. Clean Streams If any of you have problems concerning your water \&ays and need any help, there is a clean streams committee in McHenry and believe me they sure know their stuff and are very willing to help you. We have a channel in the back of our house and it was just full of logs plus a lot of other junk, so I called the committee and they came out and looked everything over and started checking right away and two days later everything was taken care and the refuse has been cleared away. It would have been done a day sooner but Sunday got in the way so it had to be on Monday. A great big hand to these fine gentlemen, Make Final Seal Appeal The final appeal for the 1959 Easter Seal campaign fund drive is being made this week. Mrs. Ruth H. During that time about forty itinerant visits have been made to administer therapy at patients' homes or in hospitals. Also, seventy - eight new patients have received treatment. Also the center now administers post amputation therapy.. Several such patients are now being treated. * Last summer, eighty-two children were enrolled in the speech clinic of the center.
