Seems as though a delivery man in a huge truck couldn't believe his eyes at the vision of Elma--on wheels--but so close to the ground. The story goes, that he even made a trip around the block, in order to track down the elusive Mrs. Nelson. He stopped and chatted with Elma and Earl, in order to confirm what his eyes had told him. The LaMarr Williams family went to Indianapolis to spend the weekend with Chris's parents and her hrothfefj^and also to visit a sister in Newcastle The Kasperski family wept to Michigan to the home bf Fran's parents. A big hand is extended to all of the hard working ladies especially those who came early and stayed late working, and to the women who donated bakery goods and linings for the silent auction. We can all be proud that everything worked out so well. The 4-H Cardinals held their meeting April 2 in the Johnsburg public school. Dever Casey gave a talk on "Babysitting." Mrs. June Stuart, their leader, explained to the girls how to measure themselves for a pattern. The girls acted out some skits that they had prepared for the meeting. Susan Schultz helped in the serving of refreshments. Carol Niemiec gave up this news. Sick List I should really say our recovery list. Trophy Ted and Dolores Prell are real proud of their German Shepard dog Rajah. The Chain bf Lakes has an obedience school for German Shepard dogs and Rajah won a trophy in the beginner's class and his owners are real proud of him. Easter The Cammarata family went to son Phil's home for Easter dinner and to see their new grandchild. MOOSE LODGE 4-H News BUSY THREE CLUB There was a meeting of the Busy Three 4-H club on March 10. There were eighteen members present. We discussed the public speaking contest on March 26, taking extra projects. ar.d where we want to go on our trip this year. They did a take off of "This Is Your Life" with the lives of the Senior Regent Mabel Thomas, Junior Regent Hazel Struke, Graduate Regent Nancy Bowman, chaplain Valerie Patterson, and Recorder Marge Fernstrom and they tell me it was very funny and everyone had a good time.
