TRAVEL PROMOTION Tuesday evening, April 14 at 7:45 p.m. the semi-annual meeting of the Woman's auxiliary to the McHenry hospital will be held at the Community Methodist church hall in McHenry. This has been mentioned several times in the past few weeks but Mrs. Fred Bond and the auxiliary board members want to be sure that everyone interested in the work of the auxiliary in the past, and in the plans for the future, will be certain to hold this date open and will attend this meeting. Young girls interested in hospital volunteer work, will find a great deal to entertain and instruct them in the words of Mrs. Ward Vand^rpool of Rockford. one of the founders of the organization of TAG's 'teen-age girls volunteer group. There are so many things planned for the future--May will bring Career Day to be held in conjunction with hospital week, and the big fashion show on the thirteenth of May. The Art Show date will be decided on soon, and the committee has already started on their arduous but rewarding task. These projects require a great deal of attention from a number of hard working, dedicated people, but the results are well worth it, in the benefits that accrue to the McHenry hospital, and to the people of the surrounding communities that it serves.
