A Touchy Subject Children and dogs often seem to be a "sore subject" to write about but it is necessary in most cases. Although the subject of dogs running loose is not settled as yet a new "touchy subject" brought on by the spring weather has arisen. Some of our young men have bAi making like Davy Crockett with their BB guns. The trouble is some windows in our town have been broken as 1he result of their marksmanship. Parents if your son owns a RB gun please make sure they find a well isolated place if they must shoot. Damage to other people's property makes enemies, so let us all be friends. We could find none, but we wish to very happily and sincerely say-- • THANKS THANKS to the people who voted for us and to those who worked for us physically. to the people who helped us financially. THANKS to all who did not work against us. K THANKS to our opponents who congratulated us and have pledged their cooperation. At various times we felt the fear of defeat and for that reason the eventual victory pleased us beyond words and yet made us feel very humble. Our final "thank you" to you, the people, will be in an honest effort to do the very best to give a service to all, which , will bring government closer to all our hearts.
