Pago Fourteen Johnsburg RESCUE SQUAD ANSWERS MANY CALLS FOR AID 1 by Betty Hettermann Recently our rescue squad was called to Pistakee Highlands w here 8 month old Wanda Bagley suffered a choking spell. The squad was summoned to the home of the baby's grandmother who was caring for the infant at the time. Hospitalization was not required following the firsF aid treatment by squad members. In the wee hours of Saturday morning members of the rescue squad were routed from their beds to answer an accident call. The squad truck was taken to a curve in Pistakee Highlands where the accident involved two young men. Both were taken to the McHenry hospital by the squad truck and ambulance where they were found to be suffering from numerous abrasions. Later Saturday morning the siren blew again to call the rescue squad members to the Highlands once again. The accident happened at the grocerystore corner where the car occupant Was said to have suffered a possible heart attack. He was also taken to the Mc- Henry hospital for further treatment. munity club hall last Monday afternoon where they held their last meeting,for the summer season. Party Time Lynn Letzter of Jak-Ana Heights was hostess to several of her young friends at her home otn June 6. The girls gathered at the Letzter home to help Lynn celebrate her sixth birthday. Competitive games were enjoyed by ;he group after which refreshments were served. Joining in on the party fun were: Maureen Crist, Terry Kruger. Joy and Karen Hettermann. Diane Schlueter: and Mary O'Connor. Hospital Patient Little three year old Eddie Hettermann made a quick trip to the McHenry hospital last Tuesday. Little did he know at that time he was soon to become a surgical patient there. He underwent an appendectomy later that day and was released on Thursday to recuperate at home. Young guests at the Joe E. Freund home last Monday were Theresa Hettermann of McHenry and Kay Hettermann of College Park. Georgia. Kay flew up here to attend the graduation party of Theresa and Janice, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hettermann of McHenry. Also attending the party from here were the Tony Freund family and the Joe E. Freund family.
