C00K3 CORNER by Marie Schaettgen Still using recipes from the files of a recipe box given me when I left my office I offer this one from the "big Boss ", whose wife says it is the only thing he can ' 'cook". He "cooks" it in The refrigerator and he forgets about calories when he eats it. He calls it-- Ice Box Dessert lb. vanilla wafer crumbs, (you crumb them) Place half the crumbs in bottom of ice cube tray. Beat together '+ cup butter. 1 egg yolk and 1 cup sifted powered sugar, and spread on top of crumbs. Whip 1 cup whipping cream and fold in 1 cup crushed pineapple. Place over butter mixture. Add remaining crumbs arid place in ice cube compartment in refrigerator for 4 or more hours. Spunds like the kind of recipe a man would "create".
