Ann Zyblebaum, Toots Spankuch, Dee Gregg, Pat Jackson, Marie Schlick and Meryl Fletcher were the guests who enjoyed the card games as well as the delicious lunch Audrey served. Bill Schlick arrived home late last Tuesday. He was one of the unfortunate commuters were delayed by the train derailment. Do not forget the bake and rummage sale Saturday, Oct. 24. There will be many lovely home made goodies, and it will be a good chance for all of us to stock up on baked goods for the weekend. Loraine Lindemann's daughter paid her a visit last Sunde^. They held the -investiture -af-twelve-new members. Mr. Zenner hopes there will still be more boys join the group. St. John's New 'Teem Club* Last Wednesday evening a group of 'teenagers met at St. John's school hall for the express, purpose of forming a 'teen club. Mount Hope Church Baby sitting service for the youngsters is being held every Sunday in the Eugene Sarver home. This enables both parents to attend church and enjoy the service while their youngsters are being cared for. Anyone interested in joining Sunday school can do so by contacting Mr. Thoren or Mrs. Sarver. You are always welcome. On Oct. 11, a group of the M.Y.F. along with Mr. . and Mrs. Ciiet Banker attended the showing of the movie. 'The Man Called Peter.' at the United Protestant church in Grayslake. They all enjoyed it very much and were quite impressed. Anniversaries To Mr. and Mrs. Mclnerney we extend our best wishes for a happy nineteenth wedding anniversary. They celebrated on Oct. 12 but we send our greetings anyway, even though we are a little late. NO School There will be no school this coming Monday. Oct. 26 for the students of Johnsburg school. There will be a special for the teachers and a tnree day vacation for the students. Hazel Rogde spent a week and a half in DeKalb taking care of her mother and when she returned last Friday she brought her mother along for a stay at the Rogde home. Roger and Pat Rogde were both home last Sunday for a visit.
