Fraternity Son Plays Host It was a proud mom and dad that journeyed to Champaign, recently to visit with their freshman son at the University. As so many of the youngsters are learning in time--nothing wii take the place of a good education! First b:t of entertainment was the football game which ended in defeat for Illinois to Michigan. A ham dinner for the visitors was served at the fraternity house--in this case. Jim is pledged to Pi Kappa Phi. Later in the evening, the Tomasellos enjoyed the movie, "Love for Love" in the auditorium. The couple remained over night at a local hotel. Sunday noon, a banquet dinner was served to all with association meetings for each following. Then came a special program given by the pledge class. Mary and Louis were introduced to Jim's "special date", Kathleen. Jim is studying mechanical engineering and is a "most happv fella" to be pouring over books and studies once more!.
