The printing of the new membership cards for 1960 was approved and a letter of appreciation will be sent to those individuals and civic groups who have helped, and are now helping, to keep McHenry county streams clean. One member attended a meeting of the Cook County Clean Streams group recently and reported that the latter committee expressed amazement at the progress of the McHenry group. t'other members attended a meeting at Woodstock Tuesday night and will report on this at the next local meeting, scheduled for JanV 5. The committee plans to investigate a report that some septic pumping trucks have been disposing of waste and washing out equipment in the F©x river. A further report will hd made when the investigation is completed.
