DAILY PINUPS The course of creation is always art; where there's a body there's also a heart. A pessimistic fisherman is a pole with a mouse at one end and a worm on the other. To move a m&untain you must start with carrying small stones. Some parader goes off with a bang, some other goes on with a puff. A baseball game is a lot like a flapjack; much of its success depends on the batter. Some women are like angels, they're apt to harp, go up in the air, and never have an earthly thing to wear. We now know why they are in .first place. The Hornets are not extremely good shots from outside. They win their game under the basket, with lanky 6-9 Ron Gossell shooting from in close and pulling rebounds down from both boards. Harvard's fine 20-0 record may be due to the fact that they have" not yet played a team equal in size. They may get their chance as they are in the same regional tournament as Elgin. Harvard has a good team, proving this by beating the Warriors 76-58pbut the sportsmanship of the Harvard fans was the worst of any team McHenry Ms played this season. Gossell of Harvard was leading scorer in the game with 18. His teammate, Welke, followed with 17. Mike Creighton led the Warriors with 15. Next Friday the Warriors travel to Crystal Lake for the last game of the regular season. The regional tournament starts the following week in Crystal Lake.
