Edwards, director of markj eting for Pure Milk associa- | tion. j The base price includes a super pool premium of 27 cents j over the Order 41 blend price ! of $3.41 per cwt. This increase I is a result of negotiations car- | ried on in December by the Federated Dairy Cooperatives, representing Pure Milk Assobiation and 19 other daily farmer cooperatives in the Chicago 1 milk shed, and Chicago milk ! dealers. ! Excess milk . or production ; above base amount^ will be ' paid for at the order blend price. The butterfat differential is 7 cents per cwt. for each tenth of 1 per cent above or below 3.5 per cent. New producers on the market will receive th£ Order 41 blend price of $3.41 per cwt. for all ot their milk. Producers' deliveries in January were 22 million pounds below January 1959. continuing the trend set in the lasi half of 1959. However, Class I ahd Class II sales dropped 11 million pounds, compared with the same month a year ago, partially offsetting' any price gain from smaller production.
