Mary Banks To Marry April SO _Card Party Benefit* Mineral Springs Area Mr. and Mrs. .William Wallace Banks of Tracy's Landing, The residents of, Mineral Springs were benefitted by a card party on Feb. 26, given at the home of the Marvin Olsons by the ladies' auxiliary. The proceeds are used for the snow plow and other improvements. This is the fourth card party held by this group and has put their snow plow fund over the top for this year. Refreshments were served, and despite the bad roads due to the deep snow, this party was well attended. Attending the bride were Miss Joyce Kristofferson and Miss Joanne Quilty of Round Lake and Miss Phyllis Ryan of Waukegan. They wore Emerald„ green satin velveteen dresses, styled with fitted bodices, matching green satin cummerbunds knotted in back with fresh daisies, and stiffened, bell skirts'. On their heads they had velvet bands with tiny bows.on the veils. Their- flowers were yellow carnations and stephanotis. Little Sherry Schultz, niece of the bride, acted as flower girl, wearing an Emerald green velveteen dress, with white Peter'Pan collar. She carried a basket of rose petals. Breakfast was served at 1 o'clock at St. Mary's hall, with a reception there in the evening for 300 guests. Following a two-week trip to Florida, the couple will live at Lake Forest.
