EMPOA Meet There is a meeting of the Eastwood Manor Property Owners association on Friday, March 18. Some very big issues are to be discussed and we would like to see you in there discussing them with us. Pltf>se don't let us down, because you'll only be letting yourself down in a long run. Women's Club On March 7 the Women's cltra presented a calendar of events for the coming year. The April meeting will be held at the home of Helen Mathes, who Will present a musical program for our enjoyment, which she has written herself. The meeting will "begin at 8:30 p.m. arid the address is 106 Country Lapp. Please call Helen to make your reservation for the eyeing. This one you won't want to miss. Marilyn Salo is chairman tor a fashion show that will be held in June. The show will consist of things the gals made themselves and it should be fun to partake in. If you are interested Marilyn would be glad tohear from you, ents couldn't be Wispier. First, on Feb. 29, Jeffery Louis, made his appearance at 11:3? a.m. in Chicago to the delight of his parents, Lois and A1 Bianchi. He weighed in at 7 lbs, 2 ozs. Second, Lorraine Monahan gave birth to a baby boy at 5:07 p.m. on March 3. He weighed in at 7 lbs., 3 ozs. and was born in Waukegan. He has three sisters, the oldest, Sandy, will want to rush home from college to see this prize. On March 5, at 6:07 a.m. Jerry Hutchinson made his bow in Woodstock. He weighed seven pounds exactly. Jerry is the' second son of Jo Ann and Bill Hutchinson. Jo Ann's mother, Mrs. Macey, is staying at the Hutchinson home for a few daysr Donna Lynn Campbell is the first gal to come out of all this. She arrived at 9:11 p.m on March 7. She weighed in at 8 lbs., 2 ozs. and that's pretty big for a little girl. Mama Lena and papa Lonzo are doing fine. Another baby girl came via the Great Lakes Naval hospital on March 8 at 4:07 pjn. Teresa Marie weighed 7 lbs., 1% ozs.- and was born to Edna Farell, who is a house guest of the Walter Garrelts family. Teresa Marie's, daddy, Sam Farrell, is stationed at Great Lakes. Well, that is what we can call a good week's toork. Five babies added to our subdivision. Congratulations to all the parents. Happy Birthday Dorothy Eternick will celebrate her birthday on March 21. On March 22 Marilyn Fultz and Bob Tucker will blow out their birthday candles. Happy Anniversary Our best wishes for a happy anniversary are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fenner and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woolwine, who will celebrate the anniversary of their wedding day on March 17. On March 18, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bever and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Stuart will celebrate their wedding anniversary on March 20 and Mr. and Mrs. William Malcolm will celebrate on March 23. aches were . on - the menu. Carey Fenner just came down with the chicken pox, so it looks as if we aren't out of the woods yet this year. David Harner also has the chicken pox. John Barry missed a few days at work when he suffered from the flu. Bridge Tournament There will be a bridge tournament, for the benefit of the pool fuha~ at thd|j5£ing 'N Fin on March 20 at 7:30 p.rh. There will be cash prizes and canasta and pinochle' will also be played. Everyone is invited to have fun and it's for a good cause. Lutheran Lenten Meetings Attended Lois Ryan and Otto Shaw attended the. first, meeting on Sunday of the "Sharing Christ Evangelism Program" at Zion Lutheran church. Lois Ryan is secretary for this program and anyone wishing to participate might contact her. This and That Sandy Radner was really surprised twice for her seventh birthday. The first one was a party in her honor in Lakeland Park. At the party the second surprise, and in a way the best, was there in the person of Richard Anderson, Sandy's special friend, who is on leave from the Army from Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo. Thirty guests were present and the refreshments were delightful. It was a wonderful time all around. Emie Kuck was also in the birthday party line up this time, ttd had a big, beautiful cake with a pirate ship on it and seven big candles. Tommy and Bobby, Mary, Judy, Betty Jane, Tom and Betty, Schweiss, and Judy and Pteachie, Wil Jr., Wilber and Helert Peters attended. The Schweiss family is from Fox Lake and the Peters clan is from Riverside. Eugene and Barbara Kuck were there tohelptcelebrate also. Everyone faitd a wonderful time. Illinois, has been authorized by the voters thereof voting at a special election held February 16, 1960 to Issue its bonds in the principal sum of $300,000 for the purpose financing the cost of constructing improvements and extensions to the waterworks supply and distribution system in and and WHEREAS, this City Council has received a firm offer for the purchase of said bonds from Ballman & Main of Chicago, Illinois, at a price of par and accrued interest, and it is now desirable and necessary for this City Council to provide for the issue of said bonds; NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the City Council of the; City of McHenry, McHenry County, Illinois, as follows: Section 1.
