Maiie Hays* Betrothal Announced This Week Mrs. Marie Hays of Main street, McHenry, announces Vincent A. Cina, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Qua of Lakeland Park, was honored May 25 at Millikin university's annual awards day. Vincent, a biology and chemistry major, was awarded the Mr. and Mrs. Henderson award in organic chemistry and presented a check for twenty-five dollars. This award is determined on the basis of competition in subl mitted written, organic theme papers. Vincent's theme paper was entitled "The Chemistry and Physiological Effects of Antihistamines". Vincent, a sophomore at Mtt- HWh" university a 1958 graduate of the McHenry high school, was also recently initiated into Sigma Zeta, a national science honorary fraternity. In order lo be eligible the new initiate must have a 3.0 (B) average or above in science and ;t 2.75 (B) average or above overall for four semesters. He is also a member of Delta Sigma Phi social fraternity, of which he was elected secretary for the coming school year. Residence Change Mr. and Mrs. Mark Hopkins and children, Jon and Elizabeth, have moved from Lancaster, Wis., to Milwaukee, where he has accepted a position on the Milwaukee Journal. The Charles M. C. about June 15. He is vice-president of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, member of the Political Union and Circle K, editor of his fraternity newspaper and was recently selected from sixty competing schools as one of the eight moderators for the South Eastern Student Government asso ciation's convention. The young man was president of his sophomore class and was male senator his freshman year.
