He had been a mail ca^er in Streator for twentytwo years. The deceased was. born in McHenry Nov. 30, 1915. Survivals include his wife, Margaret; a son, Michael, 15; his mother and a sister, Mrs. George (Ruth) Diederich. Services were held at 3 o'clock Tuesday morning from St. Stephen's church, with burial^ n the church cemetery. ELLA PARR9 Friends have learned of the recent passing of Mrs. Ella Parks, a native af the Slocum Lake area, who died at the age of 93. She and her husband formerly lived at Terra Cotta. Services were held in Park Ridge, \yhere she had resided in recent years, with interment in Crystal' Lake cemetery. J. of St. Paul; Richard G. of Villa Park and William A, of Stevens Point, Wis.; two sisters and a brother. HARRY HITZEMAN Services were held Wednesday afternoon in Chicago for Harry Hitzeman of Chicago, husband of the former Rosalind Nye of McHenry. Hitzeman died Saturday, May 28, while vacationing near Butternut, Wis. He was a patent attorney with offices at 14™Dearborn street. Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Joy; five sons, James, Gerald, John, Harry, Jr., and Robert, a brother and two sisters. MARIE PAULICS Services were held Wednesday in Chicago for Mrs. Marie Paulics of Island Lake, who di«^ Sunday, May 29. Burial was in St. Boniface cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Eva Hirsch; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. two sisters and two brothers. JOHN BAUMHOFER Services were held at 9:30 Monday morning in St. Mary's Ca^iolic church, McHenry, for Jo™ N. Baumhofer, 73. of Freeport, who died in St. Francis hospital in that city Thursday, May 19, following an illness of pneumonia from which he had suffered two weeks. The Most Rev. Loras T. Lane, bishop of Rockford, officiated at the service, followed by burial in St. Mary's cemetery. Born June 11, 1886, in St. Pjud, Minn., he had resided in Mmenry, Rock^ofti and Pecatonica and tor the past two years in Freeport. He was a retired accountant and formerly worked in the bond division of the U.S. Treasury department. He and his wife, Christine, celebrated their golden viiedding anniversary Feb. 18, 1958. Surviving besides the widow ar£five sons, Rev. Fr. Eugene Baumhofer, superintendent of Marian Central high school, Woodstock, and formerly assistant at St. Mary's parish, Mcl-Ienry; John 3. and Edwin Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ullrich are parents of a daughter, born •it Si. Therese hospital, Waukegan. May 22. t Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wohnrade of Riverside Drive announce the arrival of a daughter, jWendy Ann, at. Memorial hospital May 25, weight 7 lbs. The; new baby has a brother, Stephen, 21 months old. Mrs. Wohnrade is the former Ruth Schaefer, daughter of the Herman Schaefers and the paternal grandparents are the H. Wohnrades of Wonder Lake. . Mr. and Mrs. Peter E. Weinnart of Arlingion Heights are parents of their third daughter, Jayne Marie, born in a hospital in that city last week. Their other children are Lori and Julie. Mrs. Weingart is the former Dorothy D o h e r t y, daughter of the William F. Dohertys. and the paternal erandpar^nts are Mr. and Mrs. Peter Weingart of this city. Their second son, Thomas Robert, weighing 8 lbs., 3 ozs., was welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sherman of 112 West 22nd street. Barrington. on Maj- 23 at St. Therese hospital, Waukegan. He has a brother, Randy, 3 years old. Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Barrington is maternal grandmother and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sherman of McHenry are the paternal grandparents, Mrs. Laura Sherman of McHenry is the paternal great-grandmother. , A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jack VanKanegan of Wonder Lake at Memorial hospital for McHenry county, Woodstock, May 23.
