Obey Beach Rules Your reporter has been requested to remind all residents that launching a boat is not permitted on the swimming beaches. There are boat harbors in Holiday Hills for this purpose, and it is a great disservice to the community to bring a car, boat and boat trailer onto the beach. Even if the beach is not occupied, it is not advisable because of the possible damage to the shoreline. The lake beach was gouged out considerably bv an attempt to pull a boat out of the water last week. Clcan-lTp The Beaches The call of the beach committee for volunteers to help clean-up the beaches for the summer resulted in complete lack of cooperation. Any of you swimmers who find the water not as free of weeds and debris as you would like, will have to bring your own rake and go to work. Bill Exline will gladly furnish information on this work to anyone Who calls. Many of our private and national problems teem to lie in the basic fact that we can, and often do, spend our money before we earw it.
