Mrs. Lillian Sviontek and daughter, Bonnie, were over at the Ron Versteges. . . . Visiting with the Cicchinis for the day were Ed Rresky and Dan Lynn. . . Chuck and Jane Ramage with their three children spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Ramage. . . . yjsiting with the Zeimets, from Schiller Park, were Mr. and Mrs. M. Bacza and their four youngsters. . . . Mid-week visitors at the Hinzes were Mr. and Mrs. W. Freeman of Chicago and Sunday found Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ursprung and the E. Hess family of Chicago with the Hinzes. . . . Jack Schmitt's aunt, Mrs. Alice Callen, with cousins, Elvire and Al, Tom and Nancy were over from Wauwatosa, Wis., as were Elsie's folks. The Wilsons entertained the Lexows of Elmwood Park, the Charles Woods family of Portins subdivision, the Lowings, Joan Wilson, Dave Weigel and Don Schnell of Chicago over the weekend. . . . Visitors at the Gale's were their son and family, Ray, Edith, Ray Jr., Bonnie and Patty, daughter Dolores took her two children, Greg and John, for a train ride out to visit with grandma and grandpa for several days. . . Bob, Noelann and Alan Schweikert were out over the holidays at Clare and Agnes Schvveikert's home. . . . Louise Winters entertained the ladies of the Mary Circle of the Methodist church down at the beach, there were twelve women and thirty children. Shirley Vilim's birthday turned into a swim party at the Cedar Lake Beach. Among the young ladies to help her c e l e b r a t e w e r e : S h e r r y Schramm, Lynn Munroe, and sister, Barbara. . . Servicing the break-a-plate booth at the recent Downey Veteran's hospital annual carnival were Mrs. Korczyk, Mrs. Snively and Mrs. John Smith. . . . The Tanners spent a day at Bob's folks up in Wisconsin also up there were Mr. and Mrs. R. Anderson and their daughters, Laverne nnd Iris. Glen stayed up there for"a"\veek's vacation. . . The Cicchinis visited Mr. and Mrs. Sexton in Glen Ellyn and left Nettie there for a vacation. . . Mr. and Mrs. E. Hogan attended a barbecue party in Chicago over the Fourth. . . . The Muellers spent a day in Elmwood Park visiting tfith Tom and Betty O'Connell, old neighbors. More Vacationers Mr. and Mrs. Greg Hein have taken dad, Stuart Rode, up to Grand Marie, Minn., on a fishing trip. Mrs. Rode stayed home to baby sit with the two grandchildren, Madelene and Stuart. . . . Janet and Dirinda Verstege were out for several days with Grandma and Grandpa Verstege. . . . The Starks went over to New Jersey to visit with Dorie's sister. Kathy. . . . Daisy and John Smith with Bonaparte are up fishing at Cedar Island near Mercer, Wis. . . . Lucky people -- the Pinkonslys. enjoying their vaca tion at the same time and taking care of that new granddaughter as mother had to return to the hospital. And In Closing If anyone found a ring in the vicinity of the beach with a turquoise setting, Sandy Wetzel would be real happy with its return as it is her birthstone ring. ... Several of the little tots have been reported as having their hands burned by carelessly discarded charcoal embers from barbecues. Let's be more careful about things like this, be sure that the coals are always put out. . . . Beach assignments for July 17 are Tom Hawkins. Charles Lindwall, Jack Verstege and Fred Stark. . . . Hanford, medical technician, recently attended the national convention of the American Medical Technologists in Miami Beach, Fla.. as one of the delegates from Illinois. He is with the McHenry Medical Group. There are a lot of summer residents coming out now. We would like to inform them that the garbage is picked up every Wednesday. Please place your garbage cans out Tuesday evening. If they are not out the men will not pick up your garbage. It is to be in standard 20 gallon garbage cans, not in 50 gallon drums. These 50 gallon drums when filled are too much for one man to handle.- The men will not empty the large drums. So please use the standard size garbage cans, 20 gallons. Association Meeting .
