The main thing on the agenda was the topic of roads. The only thing holding up the start of the paving program is a small amount of work that Mr. Ladd is doing with the water main. Those who spent the Fourth of July weekend in northern Wisconsin were Mr. and Mrs. Leo Smith, Bette Miller of McHenry, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Petska, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Paddock of Janesville, Roger and Bruce Petska and Darrell Bathke. Thomas Petska of Fort Hood, Texas, was also home on a thirty day furlough. While there they visited their dad, Alfred Petska, who was hospitalized. Hospitalized Kenneth Larson is a patient at McHenry hospital as a result of an automobile accident which occurred Friday night on Route 12. Lyle Thomas, who was the driver of the other car in this two car collision, was also badly bruised and suffered minor injuries.
