Bucher-Brubach Vows Exchanged The Community Methodist church was the setting for a lovely wedding last Saturday, July 30, when Miss Kay Bucher, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Huffmaster of Pistakee Bay, became the bride of Mr. Dale Brubach, son of Mr. find Mrs. Howard Brubach of Island Lake. Rev. George Martin officiated at the 5:30 o'clock service in a church decorated with bouquets of flowers on the altar. Miss Celia Page was orgonist and Dorothy Hollander sang two appropriate selections. The pretty, blonde bride selected a floor length dress of embroidered silk organza, the bustle extending from waist to floor in rippling effect and ending in chapel train. The dress was styled with short sleeves, with gauntlets, and had seed pearls trimming the neckline, sleeves and lowered waistline. She wore a lace and seed pearl headpiece to which a short veil was attached. Her bridal bouquet consisted of lilies centered with >n orchid. Miss Dorothy Cook of Wonder Lake acted as maid of honor and Miss Judy Lyons of Chicago was bridesmaid. Both are closc friends of the bride. They were attired similarly ih gowns of bright blue, street length, styled with round necklines and short, puffed sleeves. The rose design on the dresses was repeated ih the headpieces and they carried bouquets of lilies in salmon color. Robert IIopp of McHenry served as best man and Peter Olson was groomsman. A buffet supper for 150 guests followed the service at the Wing 'n Fin club, after which there was a reception and dancing. The newlyweds are enjoying a week's trip, and then will reside in the McHenry community. The bride is a 1959 graduate of the McHenry high school and has just completed a modelling course. The groom recently received his discharge from the Air Force.
