A beautiful fall wedding was solemnized at St. John the Baptist church, Johnsburg, on Saturday, Oct. 22, when Miss Ann Marie Groh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Groh of Rt. 1, McHenry, became the bride of Mr. Eugene A. Huff son of Mi's. Bertha Huff of McCullom Lake. The wedding Mass was surig "by the children's choir at 10 o'clock, with Rev. Fr. Joseph M. Blitsch officiating. Two bouquets of yellow and white mums decorated the altars. The attractive, young bride approached the altar, wearing a princess^ style, white satin dress with chapel length train, fashioned with round neckline trimmed with rose brocade Iaice and long sleeves. Her crown of seed pearls and orange blossoms held a fingertip veil, and she carried a bouquet of white mums, pom poms and stephanotis. Elizabeth Costella of Marseilles, HI., cousin of the bride, acted as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Judith Ulbrich and Catherine Hansen of Arlington Heights, both cousins, and Joanne Hays of McHenry, a close friend. All were attired similarly in emerald green satin dress, fashioned with sabrina necklines, bpll skirts and short sleeves. Their headpiecies were small "bows of emerald green velvet. Miss Costella carried yellow mums aiyj white pom poms and the other attendants had yellow mums and various shades of pom poms. James B. Adams, a close friend of the groom, served as best man and groomsmen were Donald J. Blake and Robert Smith of McHenry, friends, and harvey Schaefer of McHenry, a cousin. Ushers were Dennis Huff and Nicholas Groh, brothers of the groom and bride, respectively. ' Miss Groh's mother selected a royal blue satin sheath dress, with which she wore royal blue velvet hat, matching shoes and a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Huff wore a beige brocade sheath dress and cymbidium orchid. Breakfast followed the service at 12:30 o'clock at the Johnsburg community hall for sixty guests. Later, between 250' and 300 guests gathered there for 6 o'clock dinner and a reception. The couple left on a wedding trip into Michigan and Canada arid upon tbeir return will reside at McOdlom Lake.
