They were In from Florida. • The Janquart family spent weekend of Oct. 22 visiting* in Milwaukee:" Lois Mason's folks were out last Friday. They just came back from as trip to Canada and brought back some moose meat for Tom and Lois to try. Carla Bales, Barb Sisk, Elaine Galetka, Tina O'Mally, JDoris Hanson and all "their little darlings" met * at the home of Wanda Dobecki last Wednesday and had a gettogether over cake and coffee. Kay Rielly baked the cake and Mrs. Gitlin and Mrs. Zillegen joined her as they "welcomed Sylvia Murray and baby daughter, Ann, home from the hospi^fkl. Mrs. Ullo and Mrs. Thoren were both unable to attend because of colds. On Saturday, Nov. 5, Kay Sielisch will give a farewell, dinner in honor of Gert and Roy Snell who will be leaving on Nov. 9 for Clinton, Iowa. They will spend the whole winter there with a cousin, Margaret Wight. Tom and Lois Mason and family spent the weekend of Oct. 22 in Chicago visiting with Tom's brothers and their families. Dan and Betty Johnson, Betty Sandelin and Kay Sielisch travelled to Libertyville last Tuesday to meet Senator Jack Kennedy. They said there was a good turnout of both Kennedy and Nixon fans. The women are selling candy for a county project. They voted to donate money for one bassinet for the Mc- Henry hospital nursery. Plans for a Christmas bazaar were? discussed. It will be held on Dec. 3 at the barn. The new refreshment chairman is Dorothy Jenkins. All members attending the Nov. 30 meeting are asked to bring cake decorating tubes and nozzels. They sponsored a five-cent social for the express purpose of raising money for the new hospital construction. The Holliday Hills Women's club entered McHenry hospital's Diaper Derby by purchasing a diaper representing a baby scale for the new nursery. Mrs. McKinley Ary, president of the Women's club, was pleased that one scale was still available for the group to purchase. A plaque with the name of the group will be affixed to the scale when it is placed In the nursery.
