Wenzig, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wurtzinger, live on Route 3, McHenry, recently was graduated from the 101st airborne division jump school at Fort Campbell, Ky. Wenzig received his paratrooper wings after completing three weeks of intensive ground anil aerial training which included five parachute jumps. The, f21-year-old soldier entered fhe Army in March, 1960, and completed basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He was graduated from McHenry high school in 1957. Pag* Fb* SHERIFF CHARGED ON TWO COUNTS BY DEMOCRATS As the Plaindealer went to press, a hearing was scheduled to take place involving Sheriff Melvin Griebel, who was arrested by Coroner Theron Ehorn on warrants issued by a Democratic committeeman in Dorr Precinct 7. He; was charged in one warrant with corruptly using his influence to aid someone to secure election to office and in another with corruptly participating on behalf of a political party. The coroner is the only county official who can arrest the sheriff. Bond was set at $2,500 on each charge by a justice of the peace and the case continued. The incident seemed to stem from controversy over a picture of Vice-President Richard Nixon which was displayed in the window of the foyer of the sheriff's office.- Last week Charles Jansen, Jr., was said to have suggested to Griebel that he display Democratic signs in the window, which the latter ignored.
