The bake sale was discussed further. Every woman was more than glad to donate something for the sale. Those women working on the bake sale are Mrs. Connie Johnson, Chairman, her co-workers are Mrs. Eunice Tobey, Mrs. Toni Ehredt, Mrs. Val Fradinardo, Mrs. Helen Haines, Mrs. Edna Crawley and Mrs. Pearle Stineman. The posters were made by Mrs, Maxine Wold. - Mrs. Marie Behrendt won the monthly prize for November. Mrs. • Behrendt will donate the prize for December. The hostesses for this meeting were Mrs. Jo Bartelt, Mrs. Bresserud and Mrs. Davis. Due to a back injury Mrs. Davis was unable to be at the meettog. The next monthly meeting will be held Monday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. at the white schoolhouse. The hostesses for the December meeting are Mrs. Tenna Bellino, Mrs. Leona Fantus and Mrs. Toni Ehredt. For a newly formed organization it is doing very well. Each month new members are coming into the auxiliary, which is very nice to see. If ' you have not already joined, you are more than welcome. Bring your lady friends with you. Birthday Greetings go to Lee Basst. She celebrated her birthday Monday, Nov. 7. Many happy returns to you, Lee. Surprised Shower Mrs. Louise Winters of Mc- Henry Shores held a surprise baby shower Friday, Nov. 4, for Mrs. Laura Belford. Laura received inany lovely gifts for the wee one to be. There were nineteen guests at the shower. To end the evening coffee and cake were served. Made Trips Miss Sharon Crawley spent Wednesday, Nov. 9, seeing the different sights in Chicago. Mrs. Catherine Fuhler spent some time seeing the different interesting sights in Texas, and now is back home. Mr. and Mrs. John Parbst made a trip into River Grove Sunday, Nov. 6, to visit with John's mother who has been ill. Mrs. Catherine Fuhler spent Thursday, Nov. 3, visiting her son, Dick, and daughter-in-law, Pat, and grandchildren. Dick and Pat are now living in De- Kalb. Don and Marion Leske made a trip into Elmhurst Saturday, Nov. 5, to visit with Marion's cousin and her husband and thetr new infant son.
