On Thursday Qight she spoke at the 4-H leaders banquet feeld at Crystal Lake. Her mother, Mrs. John Hogan, also received her fifteen year pin a& a leader in 4-H work. i§On Saturday night at the 7h achievement night at. the Richmond high school she received the "I Dare You" book j|k Danford Foundation award, plso a pin for grounds beautificatioh, pin for safety award and a pin for community service award. Home Circle * TJie Home Circle met at the «ne of Mrs. Louis Hawley Thursday with Mrs. Wolf Shacjle as co-hostess. A fine luncheon was served at 12:4b. The business meeting followed. Accident Mrs. Ernest Reinwall of Mc- Henry was painfully injured at her home Sunday when a shelf loaded with paint and tools came down on her cutting her legs. Butler spent Wednesday evening in the Harold Starick home at Elkhorn, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ward of Grand Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hawley of Crystal Lake spent Thursday in the Louis Hawley home. Mrs. Ina Wingate and Mrs. Ila Gumpricht of Crystal Lake spent Saturday evening in the home of Mrs. Ruby Shepard. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Curtis and children of Salem, Wis., visited his mother, Mrs. Hattie Curtis, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hoffman of Chicago spent Sunday afternoon in the Dr. Hepburn home. Mr. and Mrs. James Wegener and Fred Wiedrich were supper guests in the Bob Brennan home Wednesday evening. Miss Nancy Piatt of .Johnsburg spent the weekend with Miss Pat Hogan. Mr. and Mrs. William Heine of Chicago spent the weekend with Mrs. Ruby Shepard.
