She spent a most wonderful time with her folks in Cleveland, Ohio. _The LaBays went up to Wrhignn f,or thp holidays to visit Ernie's folks. They also spent sdiiie time in Appleton, Wis,, with Lou's family. While they wer^ there Lou's brother's wife gave birth to twin giris. PISTAKEE TERRACE NEWS Pink Bundle Joe and Jean Hillstrom of Riverdale were blessed with a baby girl Tuesday, Jan. 3. The little miss who Fs named Peggy Lynn weighed 6 lbs., 3 ozs. at birth. Sick List We still have to report Joy and Jeff on tne sick list recovering from tonsillitis. Nancy Gavin is also sick with tonsillities. We hope these little ones get well soon to be able to play with their new toys. Holiday Trips and Guests Mr. and Mrs. Roy Erickson and their three sons left Dec. 15 for Yuma, Ariz. They flew by Jet and visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Shipp, and also many other relatives and friends in Yuma and Phoenix. The Shipps drove the Ericksons to Phoenix in which it took four hours to drive by car. The Ericksons were in Chicago by Jet before their folks were back from Phoenix to Yuma, which only takes forty-nine minutes by Jet. The New Year's Eve party at the VFW was attended by Arlene Connerty, Marilyn and Ron Wigerman, Lory and Don Kern, Bernie and Norb Cisewski, LaVerne and Norb Mierzwa and Bill and Marty Pritchard. Mr. > and Mrs. Harry Gavin went to a New Year's Eve party in Chicago to be with all of his old buddies. They stayed from Friday until Sunday. They entertained the following guests Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gavin Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gavin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Perkcwski, and Mr. and Mrs. Chester Laskowski and son. Bernice and Bob Froelich spent New Year's Eve in Chicago at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Wagner, whom they haven't seen for over a year. Grace Vyduna's folks, IVIr. and Mrs. Janssen, came 'in from Barnesville, Minn., Friday, Dec. 30, and stayed until Tuesday, Jan. 3. Cal, Jimmy and guests spent Sunday in Elmhurst at Mr. and Mrs. Warren Vyduna's home. Grace stayed 1 horns ~with Tier daughter, Joy, who had tonsillitis. Faith Presbyterian Church On Sunday, Jan. 15, the sermon will be entitled "Light and Darkness," based on 1: John. Also on Jan. 15 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a family potluck supper in the church basement and at 6:30 p.m. the annual congregational meeting will be held in the church sanctuary. On Jan. 17 the choir will meet for practice at 8 p.m. On Jan. 19 the Women's Society and Study Circle will meet at 8 p.m., beginning the study of the book of John.
