Fires can easily get out of control and do great damage. Help! I don't know what else to say about keeping your dogs at home. Several complaints are phoned in to me each week and each person has a legitimate complaint. STATE EXPECTS GUEST Illinois always tries its best to please a guest. But Miss Nora Jo O'Brien of Long Island, N. Y., complicated the pleasant privilege of preparing for company. She's going to bring her horse. The Irish lass from Long Island intends to turn back time by crossing Illinois on horseback enroute to Mill Valley, Calif. And she wants to know what to do about stables and oats. Somebody in another state agency who didn't quite know what to do with it routed Nora Jo's letter to the Illinois Departmental Information Service. Inquiries to three newspapers on her proposed trail provided assurance that Nora Jo and her horse will receive a neighborly welcome. She expects to ride 40 to 50 miles a day, and arrive in Illinois before the end of April.
