The new officers^ are Lee :Marshall, president; Mrs. Dorothy Remle, vice-president; ;Mrs. Hazel Morley, secretary; and Mrs. M&rion Pfiug, treasurer. Fun-Fare The plans for the fun fair are going along smoothly and the committee has been fortunate in getting many generous donations. Mount Hope Church The M.Y.F. is sponsoring a sunrise scrvice on Easter morning to be held at the future site of the church or at the community center if the weather is bad. Scout-O-ftama The Scout-O-Rama will be held at Crystal Lake on April 22 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each Cub Scout has been assigned to a one hour period when he will have the chance to participate in plaster casting. Each den mother has been given a two hour period. If you haven't been informed of your son's hour, you may find out by calling his den mother. Tickets..are also in the hands of the den mothers and every person (except children under 8 with parents) must have a ticket. This includes the scouts. Sick list I am pleased to report that Ron Spankuch is getting better after his accident but his recovery is slow and painful. We are all in sympathy with Ron and his parents and pray for a speedy recovery. Mrs Blake is home from the McHenry hospital, recuperating from surgery. My ole buddy is home frorii Victory Memorial hospital after her surgery. I'm speaking of course of Lee Conway. .Lee is most grateful to Lois Mason and Janice Janquart for thenhelp with the youngsters. John and Hila Heinemann have their daughter, Bessie, staging with them for a while, while she is recovering from her recent illness. I hope Lorraine Lindemam> will be home soon from St. Theresa hospital. She entereo it last Wednesday because of a blood clot in her leg. To you all go our wishes for a quick recovery to good health. Kevin "Bales and Alice Wilson joined in wishing Missy Dobecki a happy birthday. Leo and Lill Orlowski were luncheon guests at the home of Kay Sielisch last Thursday. It was in honor of Lil's birthday. Sorry I missed the birthday of Susie Emmerich. She was two on March 11. Happy birthday to Kirk Van- Zevern who will be five years old on March 31. Blanche Haefliger is still accepting books at her home. If you have any books that you don't have any use for, the library committee will be hap^y to take them off your hands. This library is nOjt connected with the association and is-for all the Pistakee area. Around the Highlands Laura and Dee Gregg had the pleasure of going to the Shrine Circus. Bud Healy is home from college and spending some time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Healy, who live on Acorn avenue. My sympathy to "loveable" Bob IJurckes who had to pay an unwilling visit to his dentist. Baugous and family from Arlington Heights, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hurckes and family from Kenosha and Mr. and Mrs. Dolby from Chicago will be guests of Bob and Lorraine Hurckes. They wili also be celebrating Bob's folks fortieth wedding anniversary. Easter Sunday at the Ron Jackson home will include Pat's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ward and son, Paul, Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, Pat's mother and sister, Sandy.
