The main event of business was the election of four new board of directors to serve their term of two years. They are John Libastro, Ted Kaminski, Cecilia Oakford and Bill Herzog. The board members who remain to serve the community for another year are Jerry Rogers, Foster Glorch and Gladys Hafer. These seven board directors elect among themselves the specific offices the directors will hold. Bake Sale Results The Women's club held it«- bake sale last Saturday, and we're glad to report it was P success. T^e chairman of thte s u c c e s s f u l p r o j e c t , B a r b a r a Meurer, is grateful to those who offered their time in calling for donations, Evelyn Kaxninski, and Marion Hulbert and to Audrey Ellmer and Carol Humann, who picked ujbake items and helped at the booth. Barb is also grateful to Bill the girls who reserved a few minutes of their time to bake something special for the bake sale. Address Announcement •. Our association director, Ray Rode, who has worked with the post office on the new address system has been informed that Hilltop street has been changed to Shore Hill. The residents who have been affirmed of their Hilltop street address should change- the- -street -to Shore Hill. at 8 p.m. in the community house to rehearse. Little League On Sunday, April 23, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., at the old ball field, (Shore Drive and Center Street) weather permitting, there will be field try-outs held for all boys that tire to play ball this season. Each boy must bring his glove, if you do not own a- glove at this time, don't stay away. I am sure that there will be gloves available for use. All team managers aruv coaches must be on- the field before the above stated time. An all out effort will be made on April 23 to place every eligible boy in the subdivision on the player list. All those boys who have a desire to play oall and are not registered may do so at the field on this day. Also all of you fellows who still have your applications, this will be the day to get them in. The registration fee should be paid as soon as possible, but don't let the lack of this fee stop you from signing up. Boys are eligible to play if they become 8 years old on or before June 15, or if they do not reach age 13 until after August 1. A copy of a birth certificate must be presented toy each player. Any ad ditional information can be obtained by calling Mitchell Przetacznik, EV. 5-1822. A display of the uniforms will be made at the field on the above date. Also all of the playing and protective equipment will be shown. Boys who played last year and who are iust a bit hesitant about playing this year, do yourself a favor, get out and see all of this equipment. You will also have the chance to talk to the men who will be running the teams, they will be able to explain the advantages of playing ball this season. The boys played games and participated in group singing.
