We also hoped that it created interesting diversion for the crowd of over 150 which attended. It is only fair to mention that Helen is a convert to the Catholic church of only eight years standing. About seventy-five guests attended the reception held at tjie Club Lilymoor later in the evening. Helen and her brand new husband were scheduled to a week's vacation (alone, Durse!) in northern Wisconsin. Upon their return, the couple will take up residence at 4715 W. McCullom Lake Road. A hearty welcome to the bass voice which will be emanating from the house from now on as another man joins the household. How's that for timing? Congrats must also go to maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Hintze of Griswold Lake and to paternal grandmother-- Mrs. Velma Douglas of McHenry. First "Smiles 'N' Styles" Successful The Ladies of the Lake ventured into a new field of endeavor with some trepidation. Different departments and sexes were represented in the "trike tots", small fry, young misses, junior debs, junior and senior matron segments of the show. V of Germantown Resident Succumbs Word has been received the passing of Louis F. Witthoeft of May wood last week. He and his wife, who preceded him in death, had been residents of the Germantown section of McCullom Lake for fifteen years. Services for Mr. Witthoeft were conducted in Chicago last Thursday, and he was laid to rest in Woodland cemetery, McHcnry. He is survived by one son, Walter, of Rock Is- Three Way ' Celebration To commemmorate their fifty- first wedding anniversary on June 25. the TOITI Hogans (their daughter and husband) entertained Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hagel with a turkey dinner. In all, there were eighteen at the festive board, in Elk Grove. It was also the natal day for father, Tom and Tom, Jr. Quite an event. The Walls were Bulging: | At the Skeets Morris residence for three days, when Mr. and Mrs. Charles Letts and their tribe of six children arrived from Reedsport, Ore. With the Morris clan of five kids, it made a total of eleven youngsters ranging in age from l b to 21! Sleeping and eating room was at a premium, but they managed. On June 29. cousin Eddie was 11, so there was cake and the trimmings to mark the occasion. Early Friday a.m., Skeets' sister, hubby, and family departed our shores to continue iheir journey eastward to New Jersey.
