The bridesmaids were attired in similarly styled gowns in pink, with matching accessories. They had colonial bouquets of pink and white carnations, with streamers matching their dresses. The pretty little flower girl was Denise Pierce of Woodstock, a niece, who wore white organdy with pink and blue embroidery and a blue sash. Her headpiece consisted of a crown of flowers and she carried a basket of assorted flowers. Harold Wohlert of McHenry served as best man, and groomsmen were Richard Wohlert of McHenry and Ronald Fout of Spring Grove. Ushers wore James Pierce of Woodstock and Walter Steffens of McHenry. Serving as ring bearer was Daniel Pierce of Woodstock. Mrs. Wohlert selected a blue chiffon dress with which she wore white accessories and a pink rose corsage. The bride is a 1961 graduate of McHenry high school. The groom graduated from Richmond high school in 1956 and is an employee of American Motors, Kenosha. FASHION SHOW PLACED AUG. 29 A combined art exhibit and fashion show will be held at the V.F.W. clubhouse on Aug. 29, sponsored jointly by the Creative Artists guild and the Democratic Women's club. After a delicious dessert luncheon, the meeting was called to order by Mrs. Fred Svoboda, in the absence of president and vice-president. A report on the lawn card party was given by the chairman, Mrs. Neuharth. Everyone agreed it was one of the most enjoyable events possible.
