Mitterling of Evanston. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Swanson of 4217 E. Wonder Lake road. Wonder Lake, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mitterling of Warroad, Minn. Rev. Richard N. Wright officiated at the service in a church decorated with two large basket arrangements of white glads, blue pom poms and yellow mums on pedestals, with candelabra in the background. Fe r n and ribbon marked the family pews. Mrs. George Brabenec played special wedding music an tlie organ and accompanied Mary Ann Wegener, who sang "Because", "O Perfect Love" anu "O Promise Me". The pretty young bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a whit& gown of peau d'ange lace, with rectangular with ferns and flowers. The couple left later on a trip through Wisconsin and Minnesota and upon their return will reside at 2110 Maple avenue, Evanston. The bride travelled in a toast brown jersey dress, yellow accessories and a yellow pompom and stephanotis corsage. Acting as maid of honors was Trudy Connors, and bridesmaids were Beverly and Bonnie Thelen, and Gail Connors of McHenry and Joy Anderson of Chicago. The bridesmaids were attired similarly in light blue dresses of silk organza, with which they wore matching hats, while the maid of honor wore' deeper blue. Danny Adams of McHenry s e r v e d a s b e s t m a n a n d groomsmen were Jim Adams, Stan Pollitt and Frank Colomer of McHenry and Danny Connors of Chicago. Mrs. Connors selected a lavender chiffon dress, with which she wore black accessories. The groom's mother had a light beige sheath dress with brown accessories. A breaklast followed for twenty-two guests at 1 o'clock at the V.F.W. clubhouse. Later, 175 attended a reception there at 7 o'clock. Dawn Melody Vogts, 15- month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil E. Vogts and niece of the bride, was the flower girl, and ring bearer was threeyear- old Edward Vogts, a nephew. Dawn wore a white dress with orchid overskirt styled the same as the other attendants. She wore a floral headpiece and carried a basket with blue petals in a yellow and white color scheme. Edward, dressed in a summer suit of while coat and black trousers, carried a white satin, heart-shaped pillow with the rings of the bride and groom. Cecil Vogts of Wonder Lake served his brother-in-law as best man and groomsman was Donald Stoll of Round Lake. Ushers were Clarence Klassen and John Hartzler, both of Evanston. Mrs. Swanson selected a gold sheath dress with white feather hat and yellow and white pom pom corsage. Mrs. Mitterling wore a tailored sheath of brown, with beige and brown accessories and a similar corsage. A reception for 200 followed at Mathews hall in Wonder Lake, with a buffet supper at 6 p.m. The hall was decorated with streamers and wedding bells. MARY STANGARONE A true Italian fiesta was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Stangarone on Crystal Lake road last Saturday evening, honoring his mother, Mrs. Mary Stangarone on her seventy-fifth birthday anniversary. The lawn was beautiful with a variety of colored lights hanging from the trees.
