Johnson, 51, proprietor and owner of Bald Knob Hotel and summer resort at Pistakee Lake died on the first day of the new year Friday, Jan. 1, of pleural pneumonia. Mr. Johnson had been ill with the flu for two weeks but was able to come to town on Monday. He suffered a relapse the following day which resulted in his death. DR.
