FRANK MILLER A solemn requiem high Mass was sung in St Joseph's Catholic church Monday morning for Mrs. Frank Miller, 86, of Aurora, by her son. Rev. Frank J. Miller, pastor of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Richmond. Her death on Friday, Jan. 26, followed a long illness. Rev. Loras T. Lane, bishop of Rockford diocese, gave final absolution, with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery, Aurora. Fr. Miller was at one time assistant pastor of St. Mary's church, McHenry. ANDREW WESTGARD Last rites were held Monday afternoon at the Querhammer funeral home in Crystal Lake for Andrew Westgard, 62, of 3319 S. Wright road, who diet! unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 25, in Algonquin. Mr. Westgard was born April 29, 1899 in Denmark i and had resided in the United States for 40 years and in rural McHenry for the past six years. He was a stone mason by profession. Survivors include his widow, Milburn; four- sons, Roy of McHenry, Don aricf" Fred of Chicago and Richard of the U. S. Army; five grandchildren: and one brother. Harold, of Highland Park. ANTHONY MAZZIE Anthonj J. Mazzie, 61, of 5211 N. Pistakee drive, Pistakee Highlands, died early Friday morning, Jan. 26, in his home. His death was attributed to a heart condition. An inquiry was made in the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home by Coroner Theron Ehorn. Born in Italy Sept. 18. 1900, he had resided in this community for two and a half years, moving from Chicago. His widow, Mary, survives him as do a son and daughter in Chicago. Local arrangements were made by the Peter M. Justen and Son funeral home and the body taken to Chicago where services were held oil Monday. Burial was in Queen of Heaven cemetery. Hillside. Broadway, died Saturday, Jan. 27. in the Villa Nursing home, Pistakee Bay, where she had been a patient for a few days. A native of Germany. Mrs. Bauer, who resided with her son, Stewart, was bom Nov. 22 .1874. She is also survived by a son, Charles, of Chicago and a daughter, Mrs. Doris Leske, Pasadena, Calif. Her husband. George, passed away in 1947. Funeral services were held at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Schmidt funeral home, Chicago. Burial was in Elm Wood cemetery. River Grove.
