She had lived in this area for several years, moving here from Chicago. Stephanie Liebmann' was a native of Austria, where she was born Nov. 1, 1889. Survivors include the widower, Paul; a son, Paul O. of Brookfield; four sisters and a brother in Europe. The body rested at the Hamsher chapel in Fox Lake until the time of services on Monday morning at St. Peter's Catholic church. Interment was in Chicago. McDONALD Friends in McHenry were sorry this week to learn of the death of Lewis S. McDonald, Sr.. 73, who died Saturday morning, April 14. at his home in Woodstock. He formerly made his home in the McHenry area. He was born July 21, 1888, in Nunda township, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven McDonald, and was married in 1911 to Nellie Newman in McHenry. Her husband, who died in 1923, was one of the founders of the Armstrong Brothers Tool Co., of Chicago. Last rites were conducted at Immaculate Conception church, Elmhurst, Monday morning, with burial in Mount Carmel cemetery.
