And introduction and description of the Hawaiian Island given. Seven of the girls j reap and acted out a poem on the different meanings and usage of the lei. Some of the girls did the Hawaiian dance to the Little Brown Girl. All of the girls danced to the song. Lovely Hula Hands. Each girl presented her mother with a very colorful l4i. The leis and grass skirls were made by the youjig ladies of the troop. LeVerne Schueter made the cakes and Lil Neumann made the finger-tip sandwiches for the tea/^fhe Brownie troop is once /gain sponsored by the Woman's auxiliary for the coming year. Roads The roads have been gravelled and graded the week of May 21. As in the past the gravel was put where needed most.
