Thursday, Jun® 21, 1982 THE McHENRY PLAINDEALER Page Fifteen Lakemoor BOND COMPANIES DISCUSS VILLAGE WATER SYSTEM Annette Schmit £ At the regular meeting of the Lakemoor village board on Thursday. June 14, three gentlemen from bonding companies appeared to discuss the possibility of a water system in our village. Since no consideration has been taken as to this action to date, it was decided that there first be a special meeting called in the near future to discuss the feasibili- I to ty of such a program with the village engineers and the village board. At that time they will compare figures and go deeper into the problems involved. At the close of the discussion of these three gentlemen, one of them stated to the people:- that3 they will make an attempt to bring water to the | user so that it is at least as % economical as individual wells and in line with the cost of * normal wells. This discussion was the stepping stone of a whole line of stepping stones yet to be trod before any action can be taken. Many more such reports will reach the homeowner in the future before cur system becomes a reality. However, footwork must begin, and has been laid in the past, and thus |r this reporter again says go to your meeting and know first hand what is being done to help us grow. A date is being set at which time these things will be discussed, and we understand that after much more information has been gained, a meeting will be in the offing for the public in order to educate them to this program.
