Village Meeting On July 2 the monthly meeting .will be held at the village hall. Why don't you all make it your business to attend, meet the new p r e s i d e n t and find out what is going on. continuously, The G u n t h ers had a two fold celebration because June 16 was Irma's birthday and with the next day being Father's Day it was celeb r a t e d t o g e t h e r . D a u g h t e r , Barbara, her husband, Frank, came for the day and brought their new baby for the proud grandparents to see. Surprise visitors were brother-in-law, Stanley Wjs, his daughter, Pat, and her husband and another niece, Linda Woelke. Stan and Bill pjayed a round of golf and as he has for over 20 years Bill was the winner. Stan just won't give up easy. I hope all of the dads had a wonderful day. people would not follow them when they get a call. It only causes confusion. Father's Day Doings This may be £ iittle late but ^it, is a big day for all of the Dads on Father's Day so we will mention ^ome j>f the doings anyway. The Metzgers spent a lazy day with their company, Mr. and Mrs. Schuster, their son and Tante Helen. The Peter Heitz house was jumping with company. The Pflugs spent part of the day in May wood with her father and the other part of the day with j^his dad. The Sr. Lehman's had their daughter and her family over for a barbecue. The Williams family had a wonderful day at Silver Lake. The Fritz family enjoyed the day just lounging around and eating Visiting Bernadine Jablonski spent several days visiting her nieces and nephews and who knows by the time this issue comes out Pat Jablonski will have had that little bundle delivered. Lu LaBay and the girls went up to Michigan and the girls will be there until July 4. Meanwhile Lu brought her mother-in-law back home with her. Art Kunkel and his wife spent a week up in Michigan and had a wonderful visit especially for a three any Bavarian' Festival that was going on up there in one of the towns near by. Sick List We all hope that Kugenia Tucker is recuperating nicely after the spell she had last week. Also to Oilie Garner who we understand had to be hospitalized. The rescue squad would sure appreciate it if the ' Welcome The welcome mat is out for some newcomers to the village and it seems that they are all on Lakeview street. Welcome Mr. and Mrs. Shelley and their daughter, they are originally from Utah, then Crystal Lake and now here. They have worked hard beautifying their ! home both inside and out. A married son just became a proud father so the senior Shelleys are very proud grandparents. The former Wieck house is now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Weiss. Mr. and Mrs. Wailly and their three daughters and one son have come here from the Oeffling subdivision. Mr. and Mrs. P.
