Visitors, Visitors Thanks to visiting friends and relatives. I have a bit tnore news this week. Those I've heard of are the following: Mary and Frank Mann have guests in the way of their two grandchildren. Pa t r i c i a and Paul Ruff. Guess there's nothing quite like spending a vacation with Grandma and Grandpa. Betty and Bob Lakowske were pleased to have Betty's father and step-mother, Phil and Marie Golke, from Stevens Point, Wis., for a weekend visit. They were able to stay from Friday to Monday and while here Betty and Bob drove them into Chicago for a visit with Betty's aunt, Jo Cieslewicz. And next to a vacation at Grandma and Grandpa's, I would guess having them come to vacation with you would be the best, as Mary Jane and Johnny will no doubt agree to. Mildred and Tony Senkerik entertained her niece and family, Betty and Jerry Williams, and their two boys, James and Charles. The Williams made a trip from Fort Worth, Texas, .to visit Betty's folks, Mr. and I^frs. John Skid more, of Ringwood, and they also took time out to come over and spend an afternoon and evening with Millie and Tony. I think yiat's wonderful. Eernice and Earl Fry and children, Sandy and Tommy, «S£>ent a recent weekend taking a TPtp to Whittie, Wis., to visit Bernice's sister and family. Violel a n d Frank Hendricks. The Hendricks have a farm ind the kids had a real ball, "and naturally hated to come home. Sick List I am real sorry to report that Fran Olsen was hospitalized last week due to a miscarriage and as if that wasn't bad enough their three children. Ernie, Kim and Eric, were «ick with a virus infection. What a way to end a vacation trip. Tony Senkerik was sick in j bed with a high fever one day last week, but being one of the "stronger"' sex, he snapped rir;ht back, and was back to the old grind the next day. I>of£t and Found Did anyone lose a key at our beach last Sunday or earlier? It was found there by A1 Holtfodt and I have it here. If it's vours.' please call or come and identify it. ty-one. Congratulations one and all. May God grant you many more fture years of happiness together. , Signing Off In signing off may I apol$ gize to all the fathers for not h a v i n g " t h o u g h t a h e a d " enough to remember Father's Day. This is, I know, a little belated, but I lust coulnn't forget them altogether. I hope it's "better late than never". A father is a marvelous person whom a family finds it terribly hard tpJive without. They have the/muwst shouUurs. for the*v carry MJto burden of a family, plus place 1o shed your tears. They have magic pockets that always hav«^t_,ha1 nickel, dime or quarter lorlhat special something you found at the si ore. They're a pushover for a smile and a hug, but their softness takes nothing away from Iheir manliness. They can fix anything from a broken toyto a stalled car, and they can make work seem like fun. When they're home the whole house is happier. Thank God for ^Fathers. Hope your Father's Day was a happy one. 'Bye now.
