It is especially urged that parents of juniors and seniors who are planning for a college education, please attend. The studpnts are also welcome at this program. John Anderson, director Of admissions at Beloit cpllege, promises to answer any and all questions regarding college, such as entrance requirement*, subjects taught best at different schools, lodging, tuition, etc. Clarence Anglese, senior counseier at the school, will also be present to answer any questions the parents and students might have concerning the many hundreds of scholarships available to the eligible students. This, alone, should be of interest to the many parents who don't realize just how much scholarship money is available to students, if they apply themselves. Lack of Interest . Mrs. Boehm further adds that the lack of parent and student interest in the .interviews set up at the high school by Mr. Anglese with college counselers has been appalling. These counselers drive, many miles, and give freely of their time to counsel young people, and it is difficult to understand why these sessions aren't being used. All posters in connection with the library fund drive will be on display at the P.T.A. meeting Thursday, and prizes will be awarded at this time. Refreshments will be served at this evening's function by the junior class mothers, under the leadership of Bea Newkirk. The attendance was excellent and quite a good number of entries were made. Color was a little short, but the black and white entries more than made up for it. Results were as follows: Color, first and second, Jack Salika; third, Bob Baker; black and white, first, Jack Salika; second, Ed Da to; third, Joe Rudetz; best interest, Jack Salika. All in all, the contest brought out some very interesting results. It is our hope to have further events of this type in the near future. Coming in the near future: Studio nights, lectures, demonstrations, movies and many more items of interest to camera fans. For those of you who like to experiment with color, next time you're shooting sunsets try making a few shots exposing your film anywhere from two to six stops under the normal exposure setting - you'll be amazed (at least surprised) at the results.
