Please parents attend with vour cubbers. Time: 7 p.m. Troop 459 It is with deep regret that Boy Scout Troop 459 has accepted the resignation of Mr. Bill Kamp as their committer chairman. Bill had to resign because of his type of work. The Kamps have been very active. They attend all our campouts and camporees and have always had both then station warrons available for much needed transportation. BiH was also one of the men who helped give Boy Scouts their beginnine. He'll l?e missed but we hope he will remain as active as his job permits. Troop 459 recently added a very handy piccc of equipment to their training supnlies. Senior Patrol leader, first class Scout, Mike Mathews made a very complete knot board for the troop. Cub and Scoutmaster Ed Druml. assistant Scoutmaster and Cub Scout committeeman ! Joe Prazok. and assistant Cub- , master. Bob Matthews, attend-, ed the Roundtablo last week J in Woodstock. The Scouts fall I camporee patches were given j to them and will be given to ; the boys at their next meet- j in£. These meetings are open to any one interested in air* phase of Scouting, besides all ( den mothers and leaders and | committeemen. There should be a lareer number attending. Hope we can be very well represented at next month's. The place is the Grace Luthern church in Woodstock. Date and time are Dec. 18, 8 p.m. The Boy Scouts started an Indian dance team last week. There were twenty-four of the trobp boys in attendance. This team meets weekly for practices at Scoutmaster Druml's house from 6:30 to 8. The boys will make their own Indian head dresses, moccasins and all necessary accessories. The dance team is committed to a performance in January and to the district camporee in soring already and they have just begun. We know they will be asked to many other functions once they are really ready. They will perform at other functions besides Scout affairs, if they are asked. This is a very worth while project for these boys. It helps them to learn and understand our American Indians and also keeps them occupied in something worthwhile. Parents: remember, Christmas would be an -ideal time to give your ScoUt his kits for- his headdress, moccasins, etc. Hell appreciate it very much and they'll be occupied for many hours making them. polls Sunday and also . to all those on the committee who gathered the information for us.
