Namely, Mr. and Mrs. Jeppe Jepsen and Mr. and Mrs. Steve May, who are both celebrating fifty years of togetherness. Besides having an anniversary in common, these two very nice couples have been neighbors on Spring Grove Road for many years. All four are in good health and maintain a very happy outlook on life. The Jepsens celebrated at the community club.this week where a host of relatives and friends were on hand to extend their congratulations. They were married in Waukegan on Nov. 14, i.912, and came to reside in Johnsburg in April, 1936. They have been blessed with four daughters, eight grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren. Their son, Nieis, passed away in 1935. Nov. 14 also marks the nineteenth wedding anniversary of t h e J e p s e n s ' d a u g h t e r a n d husband, the Harvey Palmers, who also reside on Spring Grove road On Saturday, Nov. 24, Mr. and Mrs. Steve May will start the day out by attending the 11 o'clock Maps in St. John's church. The Mass will be in honor of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Later they will be joined by their daughters, Mrs. Ed. (Joanl Buss and Mrs. Mike (Violet) DiRerro, their sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and close friends for dinner. At six o'clock in the evening a reception in their honor will be held in the community club hall. An open house for all their friends will be held after 8 o'clock in the evening. An invitation is extended to their friends to participate in the open house celebration. Once again we would like to wish both the Mays and Jepsens our sincere wishes for more happy and healthy years together. God Bless you four! Punt, Pass, Kick Two of our very young boys made sport news last Saturday when they won out in football competition at Mc- Cracken Field. It was a competitive sports affair for youngsters from 7 through 11. Mike Hettermann, who was the smallest of the lot, won a beautiful jacket for being the highest in his category and Billy Haag is sporting a new helmet for being second in his group. Who knows what the sport future holds for these boys! Maybe they will be our Chuck Hiller of the football field.
