Knights Plan Speeial Program A special night of entertainment is being planned by the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 1288, to which everybody is invited. Miss Sharon Beth FitzGerald of North Dearborn Parkway. Chicago, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. FitzGerald ot 3718 W. Main street, McHenry, and Mr. Douglas W. Yungquist of East Delaware Place, Chicago. son of Mrs. Alice Yungquist of Minneapolis, Minn,; and the late Mr. Yungquist, were married last Saturday, Nov. 10. in a beautiful ceremony which took place at St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev. Fr. Eugene Baumhofer officiated at the 11:30 o'clock nuptial service. Traditional wedding music was played by Sister M. Andreella. The main altar of the church was decorated with floral, arrangements carrying out the colors of the wedding party. Petite and charming Miss FitzGerald wore a white satin and chant illy lace sheath dress, with bateau neckline, long sleeves and long satin tram. Her white satin pillbox held in place a three-tiered illusion veil made by her mother. Attending the bride were Mrs.. Joseph Porcelli of Chicago, a friend, as matron of honor and Miss Georgia FitzGerald of McHenry, the bride's sister, as junior bridesmaid. Mrs. Porcelli wore a gold peau de soie dress with bateau neckl i n e , t h r e e - q u a r t e r l e n g t h sleeves and matching, flat tailored head bow and matching shoes. Miss FitzGerald was attired in a dress featuring a peau de soie bodice and white, sheer pleated skirt. Her ac- ! cessories were similar to the | matron of honor. Michael FitzGerald of McHenry served his brother-inlaw as best man. Mrs. FitzGerald selected a peau de soie sheath dress with matching, silk marquisette, fur trimmed coat and matching accessories. Mrs. Yung q u i s t wore a navv blue sheath dress and matching accessories. A reception at the McHenry Country club followed the nuptial service, with 125 guests in attendance. The couple left later on a trip to New Orleans. They will make their home at 417 West Barry Ave., Chicago. The bride is a 1957 graduate of McHenry high school and later graduated from Moser business college. She is now employed by a law firm in Chicago. The groom attended Minneapolis Art institute and graduated from Kansas City Art institute and Crambrook academy. He is a commercial artist. GOP WOMEN TO SEE HOLIDAY DEMONSTRATION The McHenry Township Republican Women's club will hold its November meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the V.F.W. clubhouse in McHenry. The program for the evening will include a report by Mrs. Lucille Dowd, recently appointed chairman of the Committeewomen of McHenry County and comments on the Nov. 6 election by Mrs. Eve Levesque, wife of the Republican Central committee chairman. Bill Knsala will repeat his very popular demonstration of last year, but with some changes. His program will include the tips on Christmas decorations as well as the art of attractive gift wrapping. Mrs. Dorothy Miller, club president, invites all club members, as well as other intersted Republican women to attend. Member Federal Reeerv* System Phone 385-1040 CHORAL CLUB MAKES PLANS FOR HOLIDAY PROGRAM More than sixty members of the McHenry Choral club are now in final rehearsals for their annual Christmas program to be presented Saturday and Sunday ev^tiings, Pec. 1 and 2, in the high school auditorium. The 1962 fall chorus is one of the largest in the club's history to prepare for the holiday concert, although the spring presentation has occasionally had greater membership. Selections from Victor' Herbert's "Babes in Toyland" will open the program, followed by a condensed version of Hump erdink's opera, "Hansel and Gretel", all carrying out the holiday theme. Other sections will be devoted to favorite carols and a more formal portion to other music appropriate to the season. Tickets may be purchased from members or at the door. CRAFT SHOW SUCCESS A most successful Hobby Craft Fair was the term used to describe the show by those in attendance at the Farm Bureau building recently. Twenty units of Homemakers Extension Association of McHenry County accounted for more than 900 items which were displayed.
