First of all, owners of cars which are not in running condition and have them standing on their property are asked to dispose of them. This is our village ordinance. The purpose of enforcing this law is twofold. The cars detract from the appearance of your property and next they pose a possible hazard. Several people received warnings during the course of the week. If these are ignored, tickets will be issued. A few people are putting their garbage containers out by the road. This may save the few extra steps required to bring them up for the pick up. However stray animals are scattering the debris all over the roads. Please keep your containers to the rear of your property. This is the final warning to people who have untagged doers running loose. These animals will be picked up and dest royed. Clerk's Notice From the office of our village clerk, Pat Morrison, comes the announcement that dog licenses and vehicle stickers will go on sale Dec. 1. However, Pat will continue to conduct village affairs at her home, 119 W. Valleyview. The phone number is 385-1117.
