Meeting The Holiday Hills Property Owners association held thair November meeting at the Patz home on the corner of Sunset and Lilac on Monday, Nov. 26, at 8:30 p.m. Business for the evening included the recent grading of the-roads and the cancellation of t^he general December meeting. Golden AnniversarJ' Renee and Larry Jende and children travelled up to Wausau, Wis., to spend Thanksgiving day with Renee's brother, Tom Dzanbazoff. Then on to Weyauwega, Wis., to celebrate Larry's parents golden w e d d i n g a n n i v e r s a r y . T h e y feted the folks with a large party with approximately 100 guests present. Among the guests were Gerry and Hal Breede and son, Roy. The Jendes returned on Sunday night a very tired family. Friends and neighbors of Harry Carlson were saddened by the news of his untimely death. Mr. Carlson was stricken with the heart attack that took his life while driving his car in McHenry last Thursday afternoon. He spent his summers in this village for many years and moved here as a permanent resident some time ago. During this time he has acquired many friends, who will remember him as a very helpful and generous man. The funeral Mass was said at Our Lady Help of Christians church in Chicago, with interment at All Saints cemctery last Monday.
