This brings tears of nostalgia to my eyes. It will be 20 years ago in April, '63 since this reporter took the same training in Oklahoma. How time does flit! While Bob was on the west coast, he fraternized with two other local Navy lads --Butch Stacknick and Greg Burg. Resident's Complaint Seems as though some of our small fry have been unloading their pop bottles on people's •property and it just "ain't appreciated"! This family has been trying to keep up the fine appearance of their house and grounds and this doesn't help at all. Not only that --the kids are losing 2 cents on every bottle they leave or destroy. There has been a great deal of broken glass at intersections and irate motorists are liable to start spanking the culprits! A word of caution should be delivered to our younger population. December "Deliveries" The stork was a busy fella this month in various years. On Pearl Harbor Day, Butch Stacknick will observe his eighteenth birthday, while Herb Roeske will be 34. . . Fifteen candles for Joanne Reid and 11 on Tom Ringelstetter's cake, Sunday, Dec. 9. . .Happily wed for lo these many years, Edith and Paul Brendle mark Dec. 10 for their natal day. Looks like the sleds will remain . in storage for a mite longer. Remember Pearl Harbor tomorrow, and we'll see you next week.
