Ridiculous, you say? You've never been in better health or felt better. Hundreds of healthy people have only a matter of days to live, They are the more than 600 who will be killed in holiday traffic accidents between Christmas and the New Year. Thousands more will be injured unless motorists drive more carefully. The end-of-the-year holiday season is the most dangerous time of the year for drivers. More people are killed in December than in any other month, and more people are killed on Christmas Day than on any other day. Two reasons for this increase are fatigue and overindulgence. , . . It is doubtful, in the state of Illinois, a tombstone is still standing with a more interesting histoRVthan one found a few miles south of McHenry. Its original purpose was to mark the resting places of pioneers of note, the John Musgrove family, who crossed the ocean and five American states to settle in a farm in McHenry county. They all farmed, until their death, were hauled to their graves in farm vehicles and lay where they were buried for almost a century. The tombstone shows the first death was that of an infant in 1844 and on the other side, the death of John Musgrove in 1854.
